Manufactured by DWM for commercial sales in Germany and elsewhere The came with this beautiful shiny holster as well tools. Obviosly these were well taken care of!

08 commercials!
I think also at the very top of the art on Lugers as well... eight years into their game.. they were at the best of their best! And still somewhat distant from future military production shortcuts... If I could only have one example of the art and craftsman's ship of the luger.. a 1908 commercial would be it... Best to all, til...lat'r....GT...

It was a different time before the war~~Private ownership is the reason they survived so fine, I'm sure!!~~~

Spectacular, but I agree with Eric, thanks to "private ownership" now we can enjoy those beauties.

many perhaps most of the Lugers between 39000 and 60000 were purchased from officers. A evidence is the hold open- is it without hold open (Bavarian, or Württemberg) or added hold open (Prussian or Saxon) than it is a Luger that was an officer’s purchase. |

Tks, there is a big difference between these and the military to follow. I'm sure those that survived were equally as nice together its fine holster and accessories such as the pin punch, all pristene!

Just beautiful; but I am biased toward the 1908 Commercials...
