1910 luger inscription
I was just browsing through some older lugers and noticed a 1910 luger that had the date stamped upside down. Is that a known mistake or a mistake in picture taking. I just wanted to see what everyone else thought of this inscription on the top of the receiver.

I was like, wow, never seen that!
Then realized that the sideplate and safety are on the 'wrong' side, so someone took a picture then flipped it, but not correctly :) |
Nothing wrong with the gun, the photographer just made a mess with his picture.

No, no. You guys have it all wrong. There was a production run where exactly 3 of them were built mirror imaged for LH shooters. Only 1 other is known to still exist.

Nah, it wasn't made for LH shooters, it was made for trick shooters to shoot backward over the shoulder using a mirror. I personally witnessed Buffalo Bill shooting a backward Borchardt over his shoulder breaking glass balls thrown into the air by a trained elephant. Great show.

Wow! just noticed that the side plate and safety. That's is interesting picture taking.
