Luger hunting in florida?
 

Doing my first 6 month "Snowbird" thing to ( Lakeland)Florida this winter. (4 months last year). Was very surprised at the amount of firearms at the flea markets. Saw no Lugers, lots of quite old ammo, but no .30 Luger. I take only a Florida driver lic. is required at a flea market or gun show. Sadly mine is New Hampshire. Maybe a D.L. change is in order if I'm going to spend half of each year in Fla.

Would a C&R Lic. alone be enough at a flea market if buying only a C&R firearm?

Any recommended flea markets or gun shows (large or small) in Fla.

Also, would like meet any Luger collector in Fla. willing to share their Luger knowledge.

The Lakeland Gun Show is actually one of the better ones in Florida!! It you have a Fla Driver's license, you don't need anything else. I would suggest getting a FL Concealed Weapons Permit, which would eliminate any waiting period or background check. If you have a 6 month+ residency, then you can get a CCW.

You are settling into an outstanding town where many friends of mine either have firearms businesses or are avid shooters.
