here's some of the holster, etc

I like it, looks like it has not been messed with. Doe the holster have a makers name or mark?
|
I was told no markings. This is 99% DWM 1920 Commercial in outstanding condition. It was new-manufacture, post WWI and Not a military re-work. Serial number 731-o. Germany marked. 99% overall condition with bright strawed parts, no significant blemishes anywhere. Grips in as-new condition. Excellent commercial magazine marked Germany on base. 2nd Magazine is also excellent but no markings. Also commercial holster with takedown tool and punch tool.

Nice gun. I have one identical to that one, exect not marked Germany, all matching, ser. 311 o. Great shooter, as I use it often. I believe it is late 1924-1925 manufacture.
|
is it common for the spare mag not to be marked? or the holster?
|
Commercial mags were rarely marked, other than the occasional "Germany", on the ones destined for the US market. Commercial holsters usually had a maker's mark, but as can be seen, not always, especially if they were producing for a larger house.

A really nice piece. How much is the asking price?
|
the grips seem like they may be more modern reproductions

Nicely done. Thanks.
What year was this pricing? |
Nice like most of the "commercials", and probably a good shooter too!

Just for my knowledge, is the pin that holds the connecting pin between the front and rear toggle in supposed to be blued? I thought they were left in the white. What year was this changed? Thanks for the help.

On my instance, the pin head is white.
One possibility -- the more previous owner looked at this white dot on the blue gun, the more he disliked it, so a little bit touch up. Private gun owners doing that frequently in gun's tool stage. |
I'll see if I could post a better picture once I received the rig
|
What is the number on the takedown lever it doesnt look like a 3?
