From the photos, it looks rightous to me. The stitching is clean and the maker has not turned up on fakes, to my knowledge. The brown leather used in the tongue and keeper I have never seen on a fake.

Leather is also hard to age, without it being noticeably altered. This lether looks properly aged. The look of the leather is typical of leather soaked in an improper preservative over time.

My one concern is the tool pouch, which are usually radiused nicer with a crisper edge to the leather.

after shipping and switching from euro, it will cost pretty penny.

I'm not an expert on holsters, but I'm sure the one I had was very very similar, unfortunately I sold it two years ago.

The pattern of the stitching on the back makes me think reproduction.

Andy, This holster is as fake as xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx . Stay away. Bad joo joo.

Jerry, help us out with some call-outs.

It will help the rest of us in spotting issues down thew road.

It is a fake for sure, look at the stitching of the left belt loop and pull strap on the back. Those should blend together and appear to be one continuous run of stitching(they are stitched separately as Jerry corrected me on this in the past.) I haven't seen any repros that have gotten this right yet. Stitching issues all over the place.

I haven't seen any repros that have gotten this right yet. Steve..be careful out there! I have seen this very obvious fault corrected on reproduction holsters recently. One has to look over the whole holster...

Doug..I wish I had time to dissect this one but I am packing up for my migration to Yuma AZ. It's cold, I got a fire in the wood stove and stuff laying everywhere! It's a bad one though..meant to deceive. Another Luger University tuition payment coming up for someone!

Haven't seen one yet but yes, I do look over the whole shebang.

Thanks

Police holsters do not have the P08 stamp on the backside, they have Police acceptance marks and not military. The stitching of the inner liner are wrong as the tool pouch, too. Look at the stiches on the back side of leather to pull the Luger out of the holster: I have never seen it in this way. As Jerry wrote... a poor fake.
