I aquired this Luger, its a wery nice pistol, not reblued.
Havent got the mags, or a G holster...

It came in a wery nice KWK 1939 WaA107 holster, and with a German/Norwegian SS police black belt, and one BW fxo mag - that`s quite a mix...

My big interest is to complete rigs, as far as it gets/possible, but i dont know if i will do that on this one...?
I see K holsters, but never seen G holsters for sale, and W154 marked magazins, hmmm - hard to find i believe...?

What do you guys think?

Not to many 1935 holsters out there and when you do find one you will pay for it. Nothing wrong with a 1934 holster for a G-date.

Nice G-date by the way.

Adding to Steve's comments, he is absolutely right.

There seems to have been a shortage of 1935 Holsters and those 1935s that I have seen have been Otto Sindel. Who, by the way had a contract for Police Holsters that was permitted under the restrictions. Early ones have 1934 characteristics with the cleaning rod loop. Later the loop was eliminated

You see more G-dates with 1934 and 1936 holsters than you seen with 1935s.

I can only speculate what caused the phenomenon but maybe over estimations of 1934 inventory. Problems getting holster manufacturers geared up???? Who knows.

What we do know is that Control Commission still had some sway and the German Government at that time had not yet totally abrogated the Treaty of Versailles. Remember it was May 1935 that the German Government said it would no longer be bound by the Armamemt provisions of the Treaty and the gloves came off. The trip was totally down hill from then until 1939 when WWII began.
