Any Info, looks post ww1 to me.

I have a DWM 7.65 parabellum (.30 luger). all parts match with the last 2 numbers of the 4 digit serial stamped on them.
On the bottom of the 3- 5/8 barrel I can see a crown over top of a N, under that is the serial number and directly under that is a cursive N.
All parts match, the bottom half of the weapon was previously re-blued at some point, but looks to be done only to certain areas that were needed. top half of weapon is untouched.
I have crappy pictures but will get better ones if needed.
Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.

Post WW1 Alphabet Commercial formerly known as 1920 Commercial. Many, many thousands manufactured. 7.65mm Luger, in my opinion, best cartridge for Lugers. Should have Germany stamped on it somewhere.

Thanks for your info Steve. This weapon doesn't have Germany printed on it though any thoughts?

What would you think its worth? I live in philly and its tough to find a older Luger for less then 1200.

If local markets dictate $1200, then so be it. Generally a reblued Commercial in .30 would sell for less, especially among collectors. I'd guestimate in the $800 range, but I'm a notorious low-baller. Let's see what the others say...

Do you go to the Allentown show? The collector one?

Finding cheaper lugers is possible. $1200 for this is way to high, note where I live.

I've noted it. Pa. seems to be teeming with Lugers and Luger activity. First, there's Ed; then Lugerman and misterluger. I don't think there's a single individual operating at this level in the whole of NY state. I've never encountered a Luger at a local gun shop, though I've heard of a few that came and went. Arizona also has a bunch of shops/sellers to whom Lugers are no stranger. Is there a tendency for collectable guns to migrate to certain regions or individual states?
