Wyatt Lugers...?
Could anyone bring me up-to-speed on the Wyatt lugers of the 1960's.
Was/is Wyatt a contemporary with John Martz or a bit before ? How many lugers did Wyatt make, what models, what calibers ? Did he also do restorations ? Did not see any reference to Wyatt lugers in the recent Blue Book. Is this significant ? |

Re: Wyatt Lugers...?
Pete, I know that Ralph had a Wyatt for sale when I was at his house, it is a consignment. Very big gun, but I thought it was pretty cool.
Loads from the top, because there isn't a magazine. ed |
Re: Wyatt Lugers...?
Dear Pete,
the Wyatt customization allows Luger to use .45 ACP. The patent number is USP 3.039.666 (14 december 1959). The barrel lenght is 25 cm. The magazine is loaded on the top, like a Mauser C96. According to Mr. Walter only 45 Wyatt was made. One of them is available in One of a kind section of Mr. Simpson. Please let me know if you need some others information. Ciao Mauro |
Wyatt Biograpghical Info...?
Mauro,
Do you have any biographical info. on Wyatt, the man ? Is he still alive ? What was his profession ? Where did he live and work ? Etc... |
Re: Wyatt Biograpghical Info...?
I will check this week end when I go back home. But if I remember correctly there is no information about Mr. Wyatt in my book.
I keep you informed if I find some others info. Anyway you can ask Mr. Simpson to have more details concerning Mr. Wyatt. Ciao Mauro |
