Luger holster questions
So, I am a long time reader, first time poster. I like Lugers, and I come here occasionally to find information. Great forum.
Well, onto my question. I got this holster when I bought a Ruger Standard. The pistol came in this holster. I knew it was a Luger holster, but I did not know much about it. I learned it was Imperial German, and it was made by Oberpf Sattler-Lieferungs-Verband in Regensburg. Well, the more you can tell me about my holster, the better. It looks like the cinch strap on the flap was repaired, and it was dyed black for WWII. Here are some pictures: http://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/...ps486e759e.jpg http://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/...ps63db6f26.jpg http://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/...ps53e84f54.jpg http://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/...ps4b63a429.jpg http://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3777d4de.jpg http://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/...ps9d14d430.jpg I would like to sell it, and if you could tell me an approximate value, that would be great. |
Just as added information, the pullup strap is also broken on this holster.

I think $100-$125 as is
the pull up strap can be fixed, the tie down strap coukld be replaced, but the other holes would always remain |
Thank you gents! At $100, I'll just keep it. Nice piece of history.

And considering that the original stitch holes are outside the current strap, Jerry might be able to repair this with no additional holes showing on the front, at least.
