what would be the most desirable American Eagle Luger to collect? the "Fat Barrel"? The "Test Eagle Lugers", etc.. ? Luger with "Ideal holster"?

Ron Wood 10-23-2013 06:37 PM

The U.S. Test Trials American Eagle 9mm Cartridge Counter...only 50 made and one of the "holy grails" of Luger collecting both from a rarity and historical standpoint.

cirelaw 10-23-2013 06:42 PM

Ron how many of the fifty are left or accounted for?

Ron Wood 10-23-2013 07:57 PM

44 including four instances of duplicate serial numbers (only 4 or less of those are legitimate), plus one fairly obvious fake. I believe this is the same information I provided the last time you asked that question. :)

cirelaw 10-24-2013 05:58 PM

Ron, What kind of condition were most found in?

Ron Wood 10-25-2013 12:50 AM

Don't know. I haven't seen too many of them personally.
