Really love this one:

Saw this type of Nambu in a museum when I was a kid. Dreamed to play one in hands one day. Finally, it's possible, but I am hesitating on .... on what? I don't know.

I don't know this type. Is the asking price too high? what's the prevailing market price for Papa Nambu in this condition nowadays? Thanks.

Alvin
Not sure what the value of these "Papa Nambus" are.The ones I have seen in auctions go for many thousands, but they usually have the holster stock.
I have bought from these gents in TX and they did work me a deal. I would imagine the demand for one these guns is limited,at best.
Remember, its just money.:roflmao:

I gave $1800 for a all matching TGE Papa Naval issue in similar condition last year. I value it at about $2200+? Link to the pictures of it below:

CJS57 -- Thanks! Your Navy Nambu looks great!

I was also thinking about around $2000. If it were a consignment item, the owner probably only gets $2000 based on the listing price. Papa Nambu is a scarce pistol. Not sure why Baby Nambu is pricey. I have met more Babies than Papas. Probably due to condition. Fewer Babies were made, but Baby's survival rate is supposed to be higher. I like the bigger variation.

Bob -- I just looked up the book. Grandpa Nambu has stock. Very few Papa Nambu has stock, no slot on the back of the grip.

This Nambu is torturing me. Read "Shanghai 1937" the whole night yesterday, it's an excellent book on the subject. The more I read, the more I feel I need a Nambu in hand.... a Papa Nambu.
