Finally i got myself a S&S 38h...

At last, a single line eagle/37 Sauer & Sohn 38H - all number match and in wery good condition.
This pistol is spesial, nice mechanism good looking
Eagle/N on frame, slide and barrel.

Holster is GENSCHOW & CO AG Berlin 1940 WaA286. The belt and buckle speaks for itself...

Serial for the gun is 420702

Where can i find a good information page for this one - production year, etc...?

As you know, i love to take pictures...:burnout:

Congratulations, that's a nice catch! The 38H is a very intriguing pistol, you can switch between SA and DA by simply pushing the lever. I'm actually surprised that this concept didn't catch on, it's not overly complicated and it would be perfect for any service gun.

Olle, I beg to differ: Since the Sauer factory was dismantled postwar by the Russians, the Sauer family licensed their cocking/decocking patent to SIG to use on many of the postwar SIG/Sauer pistols. TH

That's the first time I have heard of it, which models did they use it on? I really like the system, as it makes it very easy to change between SA and DA mode. Would love to have it on a gun like the SIG 226 or 220.
