pls look at this stamp i am sure this is BA XI , but the L.Z.A Mark is Karlsruhe, but the correct BA for Karlsruhe is XIV , is this right? The holster was repaired by Zimmermann in Halle, great work regards tom |
This is quite common. The LZA marking indicates point of production while the BA indicates point of issue. I have seen many 1918 Bavarian produced holsters that were subsequently issued with BAXIII stamps.

I would wonder if it would be issued with the B.A.XIII. Most were issued to the B.A.XI. (Kassel) in the last war years.
