Waffen-Werle Pistolsmithing Service

Has anyone ever had dealing with this gentleman ? I have seen his videos on Youtube and he made Luger target pistol with adjustable rear target sight on the rear of the goggle knuckle and would like to know if he could do something like that for me on the toggle only. Thanks

I don't know how hard you looked...But a cursory Search here on LugerForum turned up 85 hits for "Werle"...I'm pretty sure they're all for Herbert Werle's Waffen-Werle, as I posted in most of them...Werle does stuff in Germany that I'm interested in here...

I would bet they are all positive posts...

There is a problem with a true craftsman like Werle...If he only mounts a sight on your toggle, and you screw it up, it's his reputation that takes the hit...For that reason, most pistolsmiths insist on the whole pistol...And they won't do any work if the parts are not up to their standards...

...My $.02...

I really don't mean any disrespect to this gentleman.I just wanted some feed in person from some of the members here. One could do a search but I like to talk and hear from members and interact as much as possible. As for as thing going wrong. That is on me. Not Mr. Werle. But that you for your input

Herb Werle is a member of this forum, although I can't remember the last time he posted here. Since there probably has not been any business with members because he is overseas, I recommend that you contact him directly to discuss your desires. He can advise you on would be necessary to work on a pistol or parts originating in the USA.

Search for one of his posts, and click on his name... you will be offered the opportunity to send him a private message or email if he has that option enabled.

Have you considered asking Eugene Golubtsov [Lugerman.com] if he would make a toggle for you??? His profile/email address is at -

A search here will show some very impressive photos of his Luger work. And he is here in the US; no hassles with Customs over restricted items.

His custom Luger carbines are really beautiful.
