I came across this great historical photograph site. This was on the cover. What is it? ~~Eric

Diorama, either full scaled or model scaled. My guess, full scaled inside a museum somewhere.

I'd say it is a 1907 St. Etienne 8mm machine gun pressed into anti aircraft duties...and it looks like a real photo to me, the French actually had colour photography in the Great War.

Eric,

Here's the scoop on posting a link.

When you have the intended page up in a browser window, go to the address bar above and right-click on the address. Choose "copy"; this puts the info onto your computer's "clipboard". Then go to the post you're composing and right-click where you want the link, choose "paste", and Bingo! you're done.

So easy, an Esq. can do it!:roflmao:

I'm used to having a secretary! Ill keep trying. In the mean time, 'World War One Color Photos' is the best!!!Although color photography was around prior to 1903 and developed the first color film in 1907, the French army was the primary source of color photos during the course of world war one!
