Ben,
Thanks for the reply. I am going to look at one and wasn't sure of the magazine markings. |
sorry. should have mentioned it is the same proof you see on the side of the receiver and under the barrel on those lugers. same size on wood and metal if i remember correctly.
If you go to this auction link, you will see the magazine you need: http://www.gunauction.com/search/dis...emnum=10200307 |
Ben,
Thanks! Just what I was looking for. So, if its 95% and correct I can't go wrong at 2 grand? |
postino,
Did not get it yet. Going to look at a group on Friday...1915 DWM, 1915 Art w/unit markings, 1920 Swiss, 1906 M-2, 1906 AE and some others. I think I found some sleepers for sure. |
Well, got some pictures email and glad I did. His 98% was more like 60% with rust and pitting....not even patina. Had plier marks on the 1915 Art with Mary on the side from a nail. The crest markings on the 06's and Swiss were well worn. Still may take a ride, as there is a P38 and a P35 that looked pretty good.
Thought, I hit a home run on this find but I guess not. When its to good to be true...It ain't |
this seller has 5-6 for sale to give some idea of price and condition.
