Identification of various regements and their histories
 

Some where there must be such a reference! I'm am collecting ww1 regiment marked lugers. Such a reference would be helpful to identify the individual lugers' history which I try to bring back to life. Every luger has a story and history of its various owners. Maybe dying in their hands! We ourselves become another chapter in its' life. I love this stuff! Eric Esq~~~

As for any book with histories of every unit, there might be one that attempts to include some units but I found the internet to have the best references and it's cheaper too. One reference can lead to another.

My copy is a reprint from the Cornell University Library Digital Collections. You can get it from Amazon for about $30.00, a real bargain for a 750 page book.
