I like it, but do not understand the high price?
I understand it was a shot show gun and such, but? |
Possibly the gun's location. It is apparently CT legal and Connecticut is chock full of crooked Wall Street types who could drop that amount in nothing flat.
|
Ironic location, outstanding work
|
Turnbull does beautiful work. He took a "black rifle" and made it a piece of art. I really didn't think that that could be done with an AR15.......but he did it. I would love to have that rifle sitting in my safe, but that price is waaaaay beyond my gun budget!!

rhuff, if you are rich and don't have to think about money, then it doesn't matter
problem is, that most of us do have to worry about money :) |
Simply because two billionaires bidding on it. For them, $1,000, $10,000, or $1,000,000 must be the same thing -- boring numbers :)
==== Or movie stars, sport stars.... guesstimation. |
Also remember that the "Ban" panic is in full swing. This was bought by someone who wanted full bragging rights "down at the club".
