Please I need Information

I've got a Luger Pistol and I've been searching in this site information about it, but I couldn't find a picture of the exact same model, It's a 7.65mm with the DWM logo on the top, It looks like the 1902 model (FATBARREL MODEL), but the barrel is normal (like the swiss model).

If you can give me any information about this Luger I will apreciate it.

Maybe you need some pictures and I'd like to know where I can upload them.

Hoping your regards thank very much....

Sounds perhaps like a 1900 Commercial, does it have a strawed (gold colored) extractor on top? Does it have flat checkered or dished toggle sides? Is the safety area have a white polished area? Does it have any Crown over B or U proofs? Does it have Germany stamped on it anywhere. More information always helps! Is it in the 0 to 19000 serial range? good close up pictures of the markings will help too! ~Thor~

I agree with russ... 1900 Commercial

Raul, On top is a photograph from my photo collection of a Luger Model 1900 Commercial. Yours is on the bottom for a comparison of appearance.

Are old guns like this hard to find in South America?

Re: Please I need Information

Lugers were popular in Argentina in the early 1900's. My wife is from Argentina and her father has a couple. wnership of guns in Argentina is difficult these days. I've seen a lot of 1900 model and 1902 carbines that came from Argentina.

Re: Please I need Information

Some of the carbines have the name of the Argentine importer stamped on the barrel. This may possibly have been done at DWM.

Thanks for the data, now I know that may luger is a 1900 comercial, but How much does it cost? Because This kind of guns are not easy to find, in my case I've never seen one till found this one and I didn't buy it, it was a gift...
