S.E.L. Erma with regim. marking & test paper
6 Attachment(s)
After tough bargaining  I could get this Erma conversion in the large wooden box from a friend; condition like new - all matching - with regimental marking.
Unbelievable that at that time the armourer thought that it is necessary to mark the cleaning brush, too :) But for me the main important thing, never seen before, is the target test paper coming with the box, in a little envelope; very thin paper - thank God that it survived in the box more then 70 years.... |
Very nice!
I'm guessing the silver tube with the rectangle on the end is the barrel insert...But how does the rectangular end fit in the receiver??? I see a breechblock in the toggle train...Does the rectangular part fit inside the breechblock??? How does it assemble??? And of course...What caliber is it??? I've seen pics of a 6mm sub-caliber, and of a .22 caliber...Is this different??? |

Hello Postino,
I do not know if I understand your question correctly - the silver tube is for cleaning; I show another pics - one with the conversion from a small box fitted to a pistol - and I made some to show how to use the cleaning rod contained in the large box. The smaller, later box did not need the alloy insert for cleaning the barrel, because at that time they use the "Reinigungsgerät 34 " for 5,6mm: |
