7.65 ammunition

I wanted to know what the last German luger that fired the 7.65 calibre. My 1920 carbine fires a 7.65 round but my 1908 commercial fires the 9mm?

Eric, the .30 luger / 7,65 para was around as long as the Parabellum pistol was.

Mauser re-introduced the pistols in both .30 luger and 9x19 in 1970, manufacturing them until the mid 1980s, and assembling (and re-assembling) them well into the 1990s.

The 9mm was adopted as a military round because of its increased stopping power, the official introduction was somewhere in 1904.

As a commercial round, and for smaller contracts (excluding the Swiss, who were .30 luger junkies :) ), the .30 luger versions were being manufactured alongside the 9mm versions from 1904 until the very end (1999).
