Bolivian Luger
5 Attachment(s)
Thinking about selling dad's Bolivian Luger that I inherited. What do you guys think is the value. All matchinging with exception of mag. The pics Im adding are the best I could do with my I-phone. The serial number is 64537.

A very hard variation to find. Your serial number is not far from mine, ,#64575. Given that it is all matcning and original, I would think you could set a price point of around $4000 and go either way from there depending on how quickly you want to make a sale. I would be inclined to not drop much below that figure and would attempt to find a serious buyer that would go higher...these guns are really scarce.

Indeed, Ron Wood is correct about the scarcity of the 1908 type Bolivian model. Gortz and Sturgess, in their first three volume work, page 530, say that about 200 pistols numbered between 64400 to 64600 were issued only to officers. The safety area is marked SEGURO and the extractor is marked CARGADO. The lazy C/N commercial proof is seen on the receiver. There is n o documentation of this contract in existant records. Perhaps most of the remaining 200 are still in South America. John, is it known how/where your father obtained this rare P.08?

Thanks for the information guys
