Pistole P.08 Manual

I know that I was supposed to this a couple of years ago when I acquired this manual. This manual was part of a deal that i worked with the Grandson of a vet who brought a few nice peices including a BYF 41 home from Europe.

The manual is a pocket sized manual consisting of approximately 32 pages and is a bit fragile but complete.

I would like to share the complete manual with the forum and if you would like a copy please email me at Wayne8661@yahoo.com and I will send you a pdf file containing the manual.

The Pdf file was put together by Ed Tinker as my computer skills are limited.

If someone could fill me on the significance of this manual or who it was distributed to I would greatly apprecaite it,

Merry Christmas

I recommend you attach the file directly to a posting using the "manage attachments" feature and then anyone who wants a copy of the PDF can download it directly. Chances are you may have a large response to the offer and it save you a lot of effort keeping up with requests.

Any feedback on the possible time period of this manual would greatly be appreciated.

According to Sturgess, the Denckler "Semi-official" (privately published) P.08 manual was originally published in 1936.

He indicates that the version you have here with the drawings interspersed with the text, and one fold out page, was published during WW-II.

He says that the wartime editions exist with a blue and with an orange cover.

Have any of the forum members downloaded this file? If so how did it turn out? Just curious.

I did. It downloads just as the photos, above. Now, I need to work on my German!

Wayne,

I downloaded it this morning. Worked perfectly, very good copies.
