Posts in last 24 hrs.
 

Sometimes I would like to view the posts updated in the last 24hrs. without having to log out and then back in before someone posts something else. Is there a way to navigate directly to this page?

Well, You can have more than one window open at the same time. Presently, I have 18 windows open, but only view one at a time. There is a little space square next to the line of windows (which is at the tip of my screen) and lets me open another window.

Additionally I never log out of the site. I just click onto a new site.

I don't know if this helps you any, as I do not know the technical language for what I do.

3 of the 18 windows are to this site. After reading your post, I opened two more. All 3 just took a click of the mouse.

Tried to figure out what I do.



Addendum:

I logged out of the site. Up where the space for the name and password to be entered there is a little block titled "Remember me". Check it. This will allow you to access the site with the click of the mouse --- if you do not officially log out when you are finished viewing posts.

But, why don't you use the 24 hr option..

Top of the screen, QUICK LINKS - Today's Posts, it will show you anything new, OR

on main page -- NEW POSTS on the top line

As for having to log out and log in, that is your cookies and how they are set up, 'usually' refreshing your page will show new stuff.

Sometimes I log in at lunch on a computor at work, I may not finish all the "new posts" in one setting, but then when I get home those new posts I were reading are lost and I only get the posts since lunch. I had been quickly logging out and back in again, which would give me a message of "no new posts since I last logged in" and a link to posts updated in the last 24hrs. I hadn't noticed the options in the quick links tab.
