nazi marked 8MM box of shells

I was at a gunshow today and found a box of 8MM bullets with the nazi markings on the box. I opened it and all the shells had the nazi marking on the bottom and dated 1938. I think these will go into the drawer and not shot. Ive seen them with the SS markings on them before, but not with the swastika and in the original box. How cool is that!

Looks like those are for a M-95 Mannlicher

These are indeed for the straight pull Mannlicher. 8x56R.

Im curious how you could tell it was for the mannlicher. I added some side by side pics of the nazi stamped shell and a 7.92 shell that I shoot thru my model98 mauser (brazilian mauser). I can definitly see the difference between these two.

The Finn's also used the 8x56r.. the taper, as opposed to the distinct shoulder, and the clips gave it away..

I use to own and shoot one. As odd of caliber it is, Hornady recently made a 205gr. soft point loading for sporting use.

They were also made in Austria.
