The closure snap write SAFETY COTE A OUVRIR (that means open side at french ) and this is the inside foto of the closure snap
I would appreciate it very much for some information about the value and some extra elements |
And what is mean GI?
|
"GI" is an abbreviation for Government Issue (USA). It was also used as a slang name for U.S. soldiers.

I agree with Jerry. Probably made by some leather shop. Possibly from parts of other holsters. GI means soldier. Holsters like this while interesting do not command much money. Under $100. Would make a nice carry holster. Thanks for sharing. Bill

The value of a holster like this here in the USA is pretty minimal. I would guess in the $50-75 USD.
It is nicely made so might bring a bit more but most collectors prefer standard issue German Military items..Holsters like this one are one of a kind, post war and appeal to fewer collectors. |
Thank you very much for your information
