Twinkies Swan Song
Ding Dong, The Twinkee's dead!
Hostess Brands, the maker of Twinkees and Ding Dongs, is going out of business. The company announced this morning that it's winding down operations and has filed a motion with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court seeking permission to shut its doors and sell its assets. Twinkee Twinkee little snack I stuffed my mouth with lips that smack You're the snack that maked me long for one last swallow, now you're gone. |
I was warned of this a couple of days ago. The events predicted by quatrains and culminating at the end of the Mayan Calender have indeed started.

I was planning on sharing my coffin with several packages of Twinkies...So when they dig me up to replace my cemetery with a shopping mall, they could marvel that Twinkies could actually stay fresh for 70 or 80 years... :( |
The Chinese will probably make a knock off :)

Just think, twinkies in original un-repackaged condition and with genuine proofed stale dates will be worth a fortune in later years. Get yours now before the common folk make a run on then, gobbling them up. The Chinese and North Koreans will, of course, make counterfiets but savvy collectors can easily identify cheap fakes. Everybody knows that the real danger will come from Twinkie restorers who can refinish damaged packages to like new. Even more devious are the artisan bakers who can whip up soft gooey goodies that contain ingredients identical to the originals and then sell them as the genuine article.
Will the Hostess product collectors call themselves dingalings? Charlie [barf] |
They are already reported as being on ebay for $60 a package, a fool and their money.....
