Crown over RC stamps
I understand this means a factory repair? My 1916 erfurt has it stamped on the barrel over the crown B, on the trigger guard over the crown P, and on the right side of frame over the crown B. Is this Crown RC stamp location any indication of the repair that may have been made to the gun?

Has nothing to do with factory repair. Actually is approval of part that may not have met exact spec.s. Erfurt used this frequently. Very common on Erfurts especially in later years. Has no effect on performance or value. Bill |
