Did QualityOf Lugers Ever Suffer At Any Time?

Two world wars and reperations I figured would have some effect. Its amazeing Kriegoff seen to keep its standard well into 1945!

Yes... The quality definitely suffered when they tried to make them in the USA, and also when ERMA tried to make .22 Caliber Lugers.

As to the military ones, I think most show remarkable craftsmanship. Also the 1970s Mauser Parabellum pistols are very finely made.

Thanks Mark.I forgot there is a whole additional group of manufacturers. Did the standards remaine the same? Is John Martz still producing his lugers?
