Mecgar magazines
Do any of the members know when Mecgar will start shipping P08 magazines again? I have had 2 on backorder with Midway since July and the Mecgar website still shows them unavailable as well.
I would think their backlog is really huge by now. |
Rather than a backlog, I suspect it is more likely a low priority.
Mec Gar produces the magazines for the US M9, (Beretta 92) as well as for many other commercial pistol manufacturers. Demand is high for all of these, as pistol sales have skyrocketed in expectation of a second term for our current goverment. |
very true, Mec gar probably supplies most of the mags today for some of the most popular handguns made, not only bretta but sig sauer and many others. I have had really good luck with the triple k and you can buy them with a wooden bottom for a vintage look.

Here's what I would do - I'd order two from Cote and if Midway ever notifies you that they re in, buy those also and sell them here, if you don't want the extra two... ;) There's always somebody looking for Mec-Gar mags... :D |
Thanks Rich,
I now have 2 on order. I can always use a couple extra if Midway ever comes through. |
they do pop up on ebay from time to timem check there

Two on order! |
I emailed Mec gar direct and was told they would be back by the end of November.

Thanks again Postino. I ordered 2 Mecgars from Greg Cote Sunday and they came in today's mail.
|
I just ordered a pair as well. No message about being out of stock.
ETA: Just got the notice that the mags are being shipped, so it means that he has them. |
http://www.tkacademy.se I bought mine at this site, good service and a man you can trust. He travellers a lot between Sweden and Mec-Gar. 10 € less than in a German shop. Same price in Belgium but not in stock here since months.
