1916 DWM Marks
 
Can anyone explain the frame and barel makrs for me please. Sorry about the quality.

The three marks on the left on the frame are accceptance stamps placed during various stages of manufacture. The eagles are proof marks.

Are all DWM barrels proof marked

I think for the most part they are proof marked. However, some of the earlier DWM barrels are not. For instance, we have established that a good percentage of 1902 models were not proofed. Someone with much more experience than me can be more specific.

All military production should be proofed, not including test pieces and some contracts like the 1906 Brazillian which don't have proofs on the barrels. In addition to the 1902 models that Neil mentioned, some 1906 American Eagles were not proofed at all.
