Some sad news... :(

I just received word that my father (83 in Akron, Ohio) has just had a heart attack and an aneurysm burst. He is in Intensive Care, and to complicate matters, his kidneys aren't functioning. While he's conscious and stable, he can't communicate because of all the tubes, and the doctors aren't holding out much hope. I'd appreciate your prayers at this difficult time.

Your father will be in my prayers. May I have his first name? I always like to pray to God about a person by name.

Either way, he will be in my prayers.

My heart and prayers are with you Dok :(

Those who have not experienced this stressful situation can even contemplate the weight of the burden it brings. May God grant you and your family His comfort in this challenging time, and your earthly father healing and relief from his illness...

I will ask the same prayer chain for assistance that has helped me through several adverse circumstances in this last year. God is faithful.

-May God Bless your Dad and you... -John
