Görtz/Sturgess Book

Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess sent me a copy of the attached .pdf brochure on the upcoming release of the improved 3-volume set of the technical history of the Borchard-Luger. Simpson's, Ltd., is taking pre-orders for the set now which offers free shipping until the books are available sometime early September. After that date, the shipping will no longer be discounted.

Am I reading this brochure correctly? Is the E-book PDF version of this set only $35.00?

John, I read it the same way; but I ordered the hard copy which also contains the DVDs. I'm impressed by the inclusion of hi-res pics on the disc--like being able to apply a magnifying glass to the subject to see everything.

Adding the EBook PDF is a nice gesture, but I think it will be all over the web as a 'free download' in less than 2 hours after appearing :(

Gerben,

Some ebook formats do not allow installation to more than one computer. The ebooks published by Gerard Henrotin are an example. I think the PDF files are encrypted and must be read by the ebook which is tied to the installation computer. $35.00 is a great price for the ebook PDF if it is available as a separate purchase.

John, I've been working in the software business for many, many years. Long enough to know that any copy protection can and will be broken. So let's see what happens ...
