I just noticed the artillery sight notch on the top front of the chamber. This was a russian capture with BULLSEYE TARGET plastic grips when I got it. This was an Erfurt receiver, found an old picture of the acceptance stamps and the Crown over RC that gives that away. Also has a Crown over RC and a Crown over Letter on the front of the trigger guard so the frame was Erfurt. Looks like the DWM link is the only DWM parts, I cannot see the breechblock eagle to tell about that part.

Thor, your work is always a delight for the eyes, great job!

This is why I labeled his work as art. I mean seriously if thats not artwork what is? Simply beautiful Thor!

Amazingly beautiful work!
When I do find a shooter Luger if it needs refinishing I now know exactly who I'm going to! |

Sorry, I could not find the number "3" anywhere on this gun. But I did find an old picture that it had my three initials (TFG) from my name in the bottom of the magazine well! Too funny. And a BEFORE picture.

Any mathematically inclined who can compute the odds of a random serial number containing a "3"? I know it's way more than one in ten, because of the 30' and 300s and 3000s, but the logic form there on escapes me for the moment. Should the calculations be constrained to military guns?
