1937 S/42 arrived
4 Attachment(s)
I picked up this 1937 S/42 this weekend. It will fill a gap in the collection. It is a no-suffix late 1937 pistol, unmessed with, showing little use overall.
The collage shows it with a 1937 training manual and a 1937 holster. |
super nice , congrats

That is a beauty!!1 It looks like someone really cared for it very well.
Great looking Luger. There have been a few that have showed up lately that look virtually "new". congratulations.

Very nice Sir. Ahh to think that my '37 S42 once looked as nice...before my time though.
Nicest 1937 S42 I have seen posted since the short time I have been on the luger forum
Gun's super! Magazine matches the gun?
Congratulation, a rare find if I may say so.;)
Alf. |
The magazine is not matching, but it is proper for the serial range (no suffix).
Damn wish mine looked half that good.
Saweet!
A real beauty Gerben. Great acquisition!
Bet you paid over a hundred bucks for that baby!
I did :)
(but it still cost less than my refurbished S/42 shooter, which I bought many years ago) |
I have the younger bother to yours(4437 NS). Which is also in excellent shape, Very nice!

I have no war era Mausers (yet). Rare or otherwise, it is a beautiful pistol. Now, where's my drool bucket?
