My First Luger with Many pictures
10 Attachment(s)
Here are more pictures of the serial number and proof marks on my new Luger. I hope these are enough for someone to give me an estimate of the value of this gun. All of these parts with numbers either have whole 3866 number or the 66 on the smaller parts with the exception of the magazine that has a completely different number. The locking bolt number is hard to see in the photo but it is also 66.
Thanks Jerry |
Hi Jerry, It looks like a nice honest gun. The grips appear to be beech, which was common late in the war. I have a 1918 Artillery just like this one. I would figure it $2.000.00 to $2,500.00. Regards, Norm

I would be on the low side of Norm at $2000 because of the condition of the sideplate.

I see a collectable, original Luger, with some wear - expected for a 94 years old battle horse.
I would stay with Norm appraisal. Douglas |
