Kahr Customer service sucks
I had the problem with a broken recoil spring on a CW9 that was 2 months old that Kahr would not take care of. I finally filed a complaint with the better business bureau a month ago. I just got an email from the BBB that Kahr refused to respond to their request. I highly recommend that Kahr is not a stand up company and for those who are looking to buy you may want to go with a different company that takes care of problems. For me if a company blows off the BBB they are not a good company.

well lets see, run by the rev sun young moon son and funded an owned by the moonies does that say enoughe

They will just pay a fee to the BBB to remove any bad grades the BBB gives them.
|
ditto, worst company to work with.......

there you go, do your research before you buy.

my customer will have his eyes opened..........

When I bought my PM9, I was told Kahr had a five year waranty. Are you the original purchaser? I haven't had any problems with mine, but if I do, I hope my experience is better than yours. Marc |

I would have never thought in a million years that, that company was affiliated with the moonies. If I remember correctly my Great Aunt was scammed by some followers of that organization in the 70's. |
whats a kahr? I have never been remotely compelled to purchase one now I have a reason.
:).( looks like a s & w sigma / glock clone to me) |

Cautioning others about a poor customer service experience is one thing (and appreciated), but the rest of this thread just doen't sit well with me, and only makes me want to buy another Kahr.

don't say you were not warned........

I have posted this on other threads, and some have given me the same response and one even banned me because the mod. was a Kahr dealer. People seem to self identify with a product, I am a Chevy man or Ford man or Kahr man. I have seen people who will cut a person down if they do not own a Glock because all others are junk. Personally I don't do this, if a product is good I say its good.
To be fair I did not run my Kahr past 400 rounds and was not going to waste any more ammo on it after finding out that Kahr is not going to stand behind their products. My problems were not catastrophic, and I have had problems with other guns, I had a Ruger SR9 I loved but the Cam block pin kept walking out like some ARs will do. I sent it back to Ruger[their dime] and they put in a new pin and it would walk about 3/4s out after about 50 rounds or so. I decided that even though I could keep sending it back and Ruger would eventually fix it at their cost that I would just try another gun. But Ruger stood up and did the right thing. And it may have been just a few guns as I have read some posts that others have had this problem. But even though my confidence in the SR was a bit shaken, my confidence in Ruger is not. Kahr on the other hand seems to be going down a bad road in that they try to remove warranty's and try to dodge their responsibility. So if you want to buy more into a company that does this knock yourself out. But don't identify your self image with a cult. |

Love the FBDO ref. It was just a joke about a cult the owns a gun manufacturing company brain washing its owners. I guess the joke just ain't got wings. LOL

DON"T post it :order: I mean, what is the point in stirring the pot on something as asinine as proving a point that got you in trouble somewhere else? |
