The holsters' life is facinating. It was sewn in 1929 the first year of police holsters, More history to follow!

I checked with Jerry Burney who said they were holster pulls, Fast way to pull out your gun. Jerry made me a beautiful lanyard.

I was serious, I traded an unmarked pocket Mauser plus some sweetner and found out the Jerry Burney put it back together. The prize was the original marked take down. Jan thanks. You are my Hero!! The number is on the back of the holster. L.M.28.
