Stock on Ebay
It might be "nice looking" but it's a modern reproduction.
And a crappy Packy one at that.....
Say you knew it was a repro and you could get one cheap enough, would something like this fit properly. just as a bit of fun for your shooter?
It would probably be a major pain in the ass getting it to fit and then it would still be a piece of crap. Better to spend your money on a real one or a high-quality copy. The only high-quality copies I am aware of are those made for Odin. Check this link for one on Ebay right now.

Yep, a much higher quality item. as you said better with an honest after market accesory than a fake made up to look old and tatty.
Someone paid 300 bucks for that useless cricket bat. |
I don't own one, but those who do own Navy/Artillery boardstocks (whether repro or OEM) say that a bit of fitting is required...Actually, I believe someone said a lot of fitting... :(
I experimented with 2 recent separate CMR reproduction stocks. Both worked without problems on a 1937 S/42 and a 1917 DWM LP08. No additional fitting required.
There was a reason stocks were numbered to the guns, even the originals required a fair share of hand fitting to work on a particular pistol. I had some originals that would fit one pistol and not another as well. |
