Early vs modern togle link
Why and when did the transition change. What was the reasoning. Which type or brand of luger was the first to change. Were there complaints? I personally prefer the old concave dish for style.

The front link was reinforced, and the toggles lost their lock and cutouts, in the 1906 production model, with a few transitional predecessors. The old toggle train is pretty but weak.
