Great Luger Story....

I had a Mauser Parabellum NEW in the box, early number just over the 1st 1000 made for it was like serial 10.20XX. Well I pawned in in 1989 and lost it, I knew who had it for he the pawn shop told me, I tried many times to get it back but nothing worked out than I lost contact with it; AND to make a long story short, I FOUND the gun and am getting it tomorrow!!!! It is still in unfired condition, sadly (But big deal after this!) I sold the box on E-bay in 2004 for I never thought I would see the gun again. SO tomorrow is the day and I will be reunited with one of my guns. I pawned the gun in 1989 and lost it, I went there to pick it up and it was gone. WEll ON Florida Gun Traders I saw a post 70's no box .30 6 inch and it was mine.

I will post the pictures of it tomorrow when she is in my hands, and MY birthday is Monday, what a gift.

Really amazing. How did you lost it... was it sold by you, or someone stole it and sold it to a pawn shop? Sounds like the latter.....

Sold to the pawn shop by your close relative, so you could not escalate the event.... just a guesstimation... because only in this way, things would make sense to me :)

outstanding, when you pawn an item you usualy have ninety days to pay back the loan plus the interest, if you do not the pawn shop will sell your item to get their money back plus the interest and then some.

very cool that you got it back!
