Have a local guy looking to sell a few German items he bought at an estate sale. Just trying to get an idea of value as he has asked me to make him an offer.... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When estimating value, we usually check out the top of the item first...then the bottom... ;)

Interesting...but who would want them???

These are the only pics he sent me. It is a tea pot, cup, and salt and pepper holder. Thought it might go well with WW2 collection..

Porcelain dish stuff here from the Nazi era in the SE mich area goes for around $25 to 35 retail for individual pieces in excellent shape....

Initially, I thought these are cigarette ash trays.....

They actually look more like a large spoon holder. Many meals back then were a form of Potage and a large spoon was always present. I think if they were salt and pepper holders the markings would be more cimetrical.

You might be right. This guy really wasnt sure what they were. He sold them all this morning for $180
