Nice pictures.

There are many nice places to visit in the US, but I will let someone who lives there to come up with suggestions.
If a plane ticket to Norway is an option for you, I'm happy to help you out with some suggestions. I may also be able to welcome you if interested (unless I'm occupied with work at the time).

The U.S. issued "ATB" silver coins summarize nice places in America well. The first set (issued in 2010) listed Mount Hood (OR), Grand Canyon (AZ), Yosemite (CA), Yellowstone (WY), and Hot Springs (AK).

Nation Park Quaters. The mint has one for each of our national parks. Its great to introduce a fabulous hoppy for kids and parents alike.

I was fly fishing the Yellowstone for my first. I looked up and on the oppposite bank was this huge female moose. I didn't even hear her approach. I stood motionless. I had a camera but I stood perfectly still. After taking a drink she turned around and gingerly walked up the opposite bank. Seeing them in a zoo is like Animal Alcatraz
