G Date Help.???

Sorry, Has been almost 6 years since I put a post on here....I am on the P38 forum all the time....

I need help/knowledge on the G date S/42 Mausers.....

How many were produced.?? in serial number ranges.??

What are the Mag body characteristics.???

As in blued mag body or nickeled.???

I have come across what I think is an honest to goodness Unmessed with G date with all matching numbers and ONE matching blued body mag..... matching grips and a pristine bore.!!!!! would rate it between 92-95%

Serial number is 5015E.... DWE 63 x2 and final weimar eagle

enlightenment on this would be most appreciated.!!!!

Six variations of the G date, I believe all the mags were nickled. 50,000+ produced.

Thanks for the info..... Looking around the forum a lot more and saw the sticky note with the pic of all 6...
This one is the 6th variation... according to the photo list...
