At my range, where i was last weekend, they have 15 bays. I did see at least 7 couples shooting side by side. Something that just a year or two ago was almost impossible to see. More and more i see ladies buying a shooting guns... |

alot of women are arming themselfs no doubt, getting to be more and more. It's the ones shooting lugers that are rare.

I would hate to have to foot the bill for all that BMG ammo. Isn't that something like $5.00 per cartridge?
|
Red Jacket was selling .50 BMG for $6.50/round at this event.
We always bring our own ammo to these shoots, and I have a stash of Kynoch linked .50 that I paid $1.00/round for a few years ago. It is easy to burn through lots of brass when there are 'happy switch' equipped range toys. In fact, I just bought 4K each of .223 and 9mm for this year's event. I plan on taking my (new to me) Luger and shooting it there. Here is another 'chick with gun' photo... http://i630.photobucket.com/albums/u...dawithFAL2.jpg |
Jan morgan is now my favorite gun reporter as well. bull pup with an acog scope and a backup lcp shes knows the score
