P08, byf,41-How Did I Do?
10 Attachment(s)
My first Parabellum. Paid $850.00. Kinda high for a shooter...
|
So What is it? Brown Recluse? Your comments appreciated!
|
Steven, I think you did alright! Is it matched? Condition is a little splotchy here and there but looks like a good honest old Warhorse so far..
|
Hi Stephen, It looks like a nice byf 41, too nice to be a shooter. Did it come with a magazine? Incidentally, The eagle/135 marked guns are a hard to find sub-variation. Regards, Norm
|
It is all matching except magazine. I subsequently purchased a nice 41 marked black holster, "135" tool, and two very nice aluminum bottom mags marked "fxo, 37, P08" with no serial no.s, all original. Accessories more than doubled my investment (not counting books!).

Looks like ya dun good.

Loks lik ya dun reel good!!! :D
Too nice for just a shooter! Congrats!! |
As it's all matching, it looks like you did quite well. The finish issues reduce it's value some, but if it's all original and matching it would be considered collectable.

This one is collectable and shootable. More towards the range IMO.
=== Luger is going towards book value nowadays. byf, EX $1500, VG $950, G $750, F $450, P $350 |
I think you've done quite well for $850, there's some decent amount of finish left and it's all matching! Very well done, indeed.
|
If you are happy/pleased with your purchase, then you did very very well.
Peter |

My next purchase was an DWM LP08, 1916. Pictures next week.
