I guess this is the only 1900 variation that can legally attach to a stock without registration. A very special one.

[Edit] And must be "Ideal" stock.

There was another rig just like this at Louisville offered by a dealer from Dallas. He wanted $9850 for his set and I don't think it sold.

$5995 from Simpson LTD is really very good price for this gun in this configuration IMO. Probably the seller got it many years ago so it can be sold lower. When a gun is posted for sale, and people line in queue yelling "I want it", "If buyer backs off, please let me know" etc, etc, that implies the asking price is too low :)

Alvin: This is my gun and stock. I had it at the NGD Show and offered it at what I felt was a ridiculously low price of $5100. Especially after I saw the other one at nearly $10000. I had a few lookers but no solid offer. I talked to Bob Simpson about a consignment and told him what I wanted for it. He set the price (low in my opinion) but got me what I wanted for it originally. This gun is MUCH nicer than it looks on the website and is a real deal and the real thing.
