Another lil Popper
 

I got this nice little engraved astra 6.35 .25 about thirty years ago. I did carry it , i guess something is better than nothing, it does not have a model number, but the frame and slide numbers are matching. I thought some of the members may find it interesting. I do remember buying it because i thought it was cool looking.

Ahh, yes it is an Astra, so a pistola, thanks for reminding me. over the years the plating has turned a bit blue, or maybe a patina. not sure how old it is, i have had it about thirty years.

as engraving goes this one has full coverage. It has a grip safety. It was just way too cool to not buy it. I still see it in the gun safe and take it out and handel it, just makes me smile.

That would make me smile too if it was in my collection!
That model wears the engraving well.
Too me it conjures up images of being in a desk drawer within reach of Don Corleone.:)
