Beautiful Rig, Bill!!
Those who own guns with sloppily placed serials and letter codes take heart....it did happen! |
Wow Bill, Two matching mags and an ultra rare 1935 dated holster, it doesn't get much better than that! Congratulations, Norm

Really nice.

Bill..Got to say..I agree with all that's been said! Pretty sweet.

A really great "repro" rig :)...Just another of your collection that makes other collectors weep with envy.

Bill, SUPER!!!! I wish it were mine!! :)

Bill,
Thanks for sharing this. I speak for myself, this is the closest to these treasures that I will hope to get. Nice family here. Now, Sir, how is that new Pup doing? |
Puppy is super active. One of us will survive until Spring! Actually a good dog just busy. Have had this G date for many years, just got the holster. Have looked for a 1935 holster for 45 years. Finally. Appreciate all your comments. Bill

45 years to find the holster? Man, that's tenacity! I'll be old and dead before I find a beauty rig like that. Happy for ya.

So how/where did you finally capture the holster? Did you have to crawl thru fire or was it sitting on your table one morning? Very nice set. dju |
On eBay with limited interest?? One other bidder. That doesn't happen to me often. Still $500 but still a good buy. When I first got interested in lugers couldn't afford the guns so bought holsters. They sold for $35 to $50 and lugers were $ 150-$200. Sounds cheap but my yearly salary was under $5000. Thanks for all your comments. Bill
