New collector my 2 lugers

Hi all. Here are my two lugers with accesories. I am quite new with lugers and i have question about 1920 commercial luger markings. Does anybody knows what these two letters "P" and "V" mean at lower body?

Another strange marks are at bolt, stamped "32" is it serial number? its strange because all other numbers match.

Could it be calibre mark because pistol is 7.65 cal.? Just to make sure that if spare parts needed they could be regognised? it also have a little different size and shape than other numbers in gun.
Another strange number to me is number "02" in front of body. It cant be serial numbers last two digits because body has already stamped a serial number 2470?

Gun was impoted to Finland 1920. And was used in war world war 2 1944-1945 in northern finland. First against russians and later against former owners Germans :) In 1950 veteran who carried the gun in war, won the Finnish army shooting competion with it, said it was extremely accurate with shoulder stock attached. :)
It is all matching expekt the shoulder stock. Holster seems to be 3rd Reich with waa706 marks.

My second luger is S42 1939 Marked with Mauser waa stamps. All matching but i think it is reblued. All parts are blued expekt the sideplate, even the trigger. What parts should be blued? Holster is 3rd reich era with waa286 mark.

Mark,
The interior marks ,P, V, 02, etc. are stage or production marks. They have nothng to do with date or caliber. The 32 on the breech block is strange though.

All lugers after early-mid 1937 were totally blued. Can't tell from your pics if it has been re-blued.

In this country is is illegal to shoot a 4 inch barrel with a stock on it.

Ok. Thanks for the info. I am quite sure that "32" mark is Finnish army stamp and it indicates caliber 7.65mm in inches, but i have not found confirm about it. Finnish army usually mark its property with "SA" stamp which means "Suomen Armeija" (Finnish Army) however this stamp is missing.

S42 1939 luger is probaly reblued (Sorry for bad pics) it just look too new, all the edges are sharp and there is no marks of sanding however. Sideplate is only part that is not blued and its number matches the serial. Could be replaced and stamped after of course.

You have a crazy laws in Colorado :) but so we have here in Finland too. Stock is still legal here. Strange that US authorities think that gun almost 100 years old is more dangerous with stock attached in it.

7.65mm Luger actually uses .308 to .310 inch bullet, and 32 ACP uses .308 to .312 inch bullet (no real world difference), so that may well be correct...

Also in other 47 states of United States...Maybe non-continental states also... :D

Right... Here in Finland we use millimetric system in calibers usually.. But Army and Law authorities use randomly both... very confusing usually. I really have to find another example of commercial luger here in finland.
Example you firearm licence says calibre for your 7.65 Pb only 7.65? :) So it may mean ANY 7.65cal.
